Home for a young family of four, the design creates a large open living space on the lower level that connects the outdoors to the indoor spaces. The concept stems from an assembly of volumes that are divided by large monumental planes. The volumes define the function of the space while the surfaces allow for visual and programmatic transitions between spaces.

The structure is a primarily reinforced concrete and block walls with cast in place concrete feature walls that also serve as load bearing walls for the long open spans in the home.
